Sustainability Efforts
We pride ourselves on our efforts to become a more sustainable company. We have implemented a variety of programs and installed an assortment of eco-friendly upgrades to our headquarters and our fleet of vehicles.
We have installed a 21kW Solar system on our roof!! See story below.
We have created a cleaning system using Green Seal Certified cleaning chemicals.
We installed 10 Solartubes in our office to eliminate the need for standard lighting in most areas.
We installed new energy efficient air-conditioning units.
We installed low flow toilets and faucets.
We print all our faxes and many other documents on the back of previously printed 8½” x 11” paper.
J’s Maintenance has moved to using almost all 4 cylinder vehicles and we have two Toyota Prius. Watch for our GreenMobile around town!
We have continued and expanded our extensive recycling program which keeps thousands of pounds of materials out of the landfills:

- Newspaper
- Cardboard
We are also working with the City of Glendale to explore further options moving towards a zero-waste city and company.
